1. Scope

This policy applies to information collected through afrelocation.com and the legacy alanandfamily.com domain, including the moving-quote form, the message widget, and the career-application form. It does not replace privacy terms contained in a later moving, storage, employment, or independent partner agreement.

2. Information we collect

Moving quote requests

We may collect your name, email, phone number, preferred contact method, origin and destination information, move date and flexibility, property type and size, access details, requested services, notes, consent selection, the page or referrer associated with the request, and campaign parameters included in the page address.

Messages

The message widget may collect your name, email or phone number, move type, message, the page where the message was sent, and a submission timestamp. It sends an asynchronous message to our team and is not a live-chat service.

Career applications

We may collect the role selected, name, contact information, city and state, work authorization response, work history, moving or driving experience, availability, intended start timing, CDL class and endorsements when applicable, comments, and applicant attestation.

Do not submit a Social Security number, date of birth, medical information, immigration documents, driver’s-license number, financial account information, or other highly sensitive records. This website does not accept resume uploads.

Technical and security information

Hosting and security systems may process an IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, requested pages, and similar server-log information. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile to identify automated or abusive submissions. Turnstile may process technical signals under Cloudflare’s own privacy terms.

3. How we use information

• To review, respond to, and follow up on moving inquiries.
• To prepare or request the information needed for an estimate.
• To respond to messages and customer-service questions.
• To review career applications and communicate about potential work.
• To send a transactional confirmation when a validated email address is included with an accepted submission.
• To protect the website, forms, mailboxes, and users from spam, fraud, and abuse.
• To maintain business records and comply with applicable obligations.

A website submission does not create a moving contract, employment relationship, or guarantee of service.

4. How information is handled and shared

Accepted forms are sent by authenticated email to A&F Relocation mailboxes. The website does not create a customer-profile or lead database. Messages may remain in business email systems and backups for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, protect the business, or meet legal obligations.

When an accepted submission includes a validated email address, we send a short transactional confirmation containing a request ID and limited submission details. A phone-only message does not receive an email confirmation. These receipts are not marketing messages and do not add you to a promotional mailing list.

We may provide information to:

• Employees and service providers who need it to operate the website, email, hosting, security, or requested service.
• Professional advisers, insurers, regulators, or authorities when reasonably necessary or legally required.
• An independent vehicle-transport provider when you ask us to coordinate that service.
• A successor in connection with a merger, sale, reorganization, or transfer of the business or its assets.

We do not sell personal information submitted through these forms.

5. Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising pixels or visitor analytics. Security and hosting providers may use necessary technical storage or signals to deliver the site, validate Turnstile, maintain security, and prevent abuse. During a visit, this site uses browser session storage—not a persistent tracking cookie—to carry the original referrer and UTM campaign values into a form if you later choose to submit one. If optional analytics or marketing tools are added later, this policy will be updated before those tools are enabled.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect submitted information, including encrypted website connections, server-side validation, authenticated email delivery, anti-spam controls, and restricted configuration access. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your choices

You may ask us to correct or delete information you submitted through this website. We may need to verify the request and may retain information required for legal, regulatory, safety, security, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping reasons. You can also choose not to use the web forms and call us instead.

8. Children’s privacy

The website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly request information from them through these forms. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request review and deletion.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version.
